Software Freedom Day ILUG Celebration is being held at Broadway on 26 Sep 2009, 04:00 PM.

ILUG-Cochin will be celebrating Software Freedom Day 2009 and its 12^th anniversary on 26^th Sept. They will be holding procession and awareness campaign on the streets.

ILUG Cochin will be conducting a meet this sunday(23^rd Aug, 2009). The meeting is from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM. The agenda for the meeting is The Campaign for Promoting Free Software in Educational Institutions and the technical presentation will be ‘Exploring the Internals of the Operating System for normal users’ By Sameer.

The meet starts with an introduction to Free Software and GNU Movement. Discussion on Free Software Licenses, Open Source Software.

There will also be discussion on the feedback for “Community Based Curriculum” initiative from the “Syllabus Review Meeting” conducted by IT@Schools last week, in which ILUG Cochin participated.
