Don’t know what a barcamp is?
BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from participants who are the main actors of the event

Gamers’ Meetup Kochi is being held at Area 51, Kathrikadavu Jn on 14 Apr 2012, 04:00 PM.
Gamer Meet-Up (tweetup) is the place to have a way to interact with each other.
Any one who plays or loves games that could be a causal gamer playing simple game like snakes,solitaire, angry bird to a hardcore Counter-strike, DOTA, COD gamer.
Gamers’ Meetup Kochi would also witness Gaming Competition at the venue. You could also get your handheld device. Even Showcase games
This is an initative to make it possible for gamers to have a way to interact with each other. There are plenty of features for all of them. It kick-started from Mumbai-Pune-Pondicherry-Kochi and other cities with over 300 attendees gracing the event.
The idea here is also to bridge the gap between developer/producer to end gamer.
Never be bored playing by yourself in video games, now you have a whole new network.

Script Film Festival is being held at Fine Arts Hall on 20 Jan 2012, 08:30 AM. This is a full day event.
SCRIPT, is organized by the Rotary Club of Cochin Metropolis. It seeks to recognize outstanding short films that deal with globally relevant social issues, thereby drawing world attention to these issues. Cochin Carnival is being held at Fort Cochin on 17 Dec 2011, 09:00 AM. This goes on till 01 Jan 2012, 08:00 PM.
Cochin Carnival is celebrated at Fort Kochi every year during the last ten days of December. Various unique games, dirt bike races, beach volleyball and fireworks display are held as part of the festivities. The carnival is celebrated as a continuity of the Portuguese New Year revelry held here during the colonial days.
